Allergic conditions, itching
  • Oral
    • 1 year up to 12 years
      • 0.1 mg/kg/day in 3 doses. Max: 3 mg/day.
      • 1 mg = 20 drops

    • 12 years up to 18 years
      • 3 - 6 mg/day in 3 doses.

Renal impaiment in children > 3 months

GFR ≥10 ml/min/1.73m2: Dose adjustment not required.

GFR <10 ml/min/1.73m2: A general recommendation on dose adjustment cannot be provided.

Side effects in children

Using it can result in reduced capacity to react and concentrate. Antihistamines can induce mental agitation in younger children (SmPC Fenistil).
