Dosages

Primary hyperoxaluria, type I
  • Subcutaneous
    • < 10 kg
      • Initial dose: 6 mg/kg/dose once per month during 3 months.
      • Maintenance dose: 3 mg/kg/dose once per month.
      • First maintenance dose 1 month after last initial dose

    • 10 up to 20 kg
      • Initial dose: 6 mg/kg/dose once per month during 3 months.
      • Maintenance dose: 6 mg/kg/dose once every 3 months.
      • First maintenance dose 1 month after last initial dose

    • ≥ 20 kg
      • Initial dose: 3 mg/kg/dose once per month during 3 months.
      • Maintenance dose: 3 mg/kg/dose once every 3 months.
      • First maintenance dose 1 month after last initial dose

Renal impaiment in children > 3 months

No dose adjustment is required for patients with renal impairment (eGFR<90 ml/min/1.73m²), including end-stage renal disease (ESRD), or for patients undergoing dialysis. Few data are available for patients with ESRD and patients undergoing dialysis and these patients should be treated with caution (SmPC)
