  • Subcutaneous
    • ≥ 1 year
      • Initial dose: 1 microg./kg/dose once a week. Max: 10 microg./kg/week. Titrate the dose depending on the thrombocyte count:
        < 50 × 109/liter: increase weekly by 1 mcg/kg
        > 150 x 109/liter: lower weekly by 1 mcg/kg
        > 250 x 109/liter: interrupt administration until the thrombocyte count has dropped to < 150 x 109/liter and then resume with the previous dose, lowered by 1 mcg/kg..
      • Exclusively on prescription by a paediatric haematologist
