Infectie met S. haematobium (urogenitale bilharziasis), S. mansoni (intestinale bilharziasis) en S. intercalatum
  • Oral
    • ≥ 1 year

      • 40 mg/kg/day in 1 - 2 doses. as a single-day treatment. Repeat after 4 weeks.
      • Directions for administration:

        Oral administration should preferably be in the evening during or after a meal; if there are multiple doses per day, the interval should be 4-6 hours. In children under 6 years of age, crush the tablets (Biltricide®) and mix them with semi-solid food, or allow them to fall apart in liquid.

Infection with S. japonicum and S. mekongi
  • Oral
    • ≥ 1 year

      • 60 mg/kg/day in 1 - 3 doses. as a single-day treatment. Repeat after 4 weeks.
