Dosages

Hypotension (incl. orthostatic)
  • Oral
    • 1 year up to 18 years
      • Initial dose: 2.5 - 5 mg/day in 1 - 2 doses.
      • Maintenance dose: depending on the blood pressure, increase as required to a maximum of 30 mg/day in 3 doses.
      • Treatment by or after consultations with a paediatric specialist (nephrologist) who has experience with using midodrine for this indication.
