Warnings & precautions in children
Children are susceptible to cardiac conduction disorders. Asymptomatic prolongation of the PQ interval has been reported more frequently in children than in adults, and asymptomatic first- and second-degree AV block has also been reported.
Ineffective: in pre-treated children, no efficacy is to be expected with ≥4 'protease inhibitor'(PI) mutations. This may be the case even with less than 4 'protease inhibitor'(PI) mutations.
