Dosages

COVID-19 pneumonia requiring oxygen suppletion
  • Intravenous
    • 1 month up to 18 years and < 40 kg
      • Initial dose: 5 mg/kg/day, once only on day 1.
      • Maintenance dose: 2.5 mg/kg/day in 1 dose
      • Duration of treatment:

        max 10 days.

        • Administer in 30-120 minutes

         

COVID-19 infected patients at increased risk of progressing to severe COVID-19
  • Intravenous
    • 1 month up to 18 years and ≥ 40 kg
      • Initial dose: 200 mg/day, once only.
      • Maintenance dose: 100 mg/day in 1 dose
      • Duration of treatment:

        3 days, starting as soon as possible after diagnosis of COVID-19 and within 7 days of the onset of symptoms.

        • Administer in 30-120 minuten.
    • 1 month up to 18 years and ≥ 40 kg
