Warnings & precautions in children
In children and adolescents, the intraocular pressure should be checked regularly. This is especially important in pediatric patients receiving drugs containing dexamethasone, as the risk of steroid-induced ocular hypertension in children under 6 years of age can be higher and appear earlier than in adults.
