Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, induction of puberty
  • Subcutaneous
    • ≥ 14 years and ≥ 60 kg
      • 150 microg./dose once every 2 weeks.
      • After 12 weeks: Combine administration of corifollitropin alfa with hCG 
        Only on prescription from pediatric endocrinologist

    • ≥ 14 years and < 60 kg
      • 100 microg./dose once every 2 weeks.
      • After 12 weeks: Combine administration of corifollitropin alfa with hCG 
        Only on prescription from pediatric endocrinologist

Warnings & precautions in children

Use is not recommended in adolescents who have been treated with GnRH, gonadotropins or testosterone in the past.

An increased concentration of endogenous FSH indicates primary testicular failure; in that case, treatment with corifollitropin α and hCG is of no use.
