In the majority of patients, fluticasone furoate is undetectable (< 10 pg/ml) after intranasal dosing of 110 micrograms once daily. Measurable levels were observed in 15.1% of children after intranasal dosing of 110 micrograms once daily and only 6.8% of children after 55 micrograms once daily. There was no evidence of higher measurable levels of fluticasone furoate in younger children (less than 6 years of age).
The following median fluticason furoate concentrations were found in subjects with measurable levels:
| Age (years) | Dose (microgram) | Concentration (pg/ml) |
| 2 to 6 | 55 | 18.4 |
| 110 | 14.3 | |
| 6 to 12 | 55 | 18.9 |
| 110 | 14.4 |

Growth inhibition has been reported in children when therapeutic doses are used; in long-term use, especially with combined inhalation therapy for asthma, check the growth and if there is growth inhibition attempt to reduce the dose and refer to the paediatrician. The lowest possible dose must be used in children if long-term use of nasal corticosteroids in children is necessary.
Following systemic effects are possible, especially in children after using higher doses over a longer period of time: mental or behavioral changes, including psychomotor hyperactivity, insomnia, anxiety, depression, or aggression (SmPC).
