  • Oral
    • 6 months up to 1 year
      • 6.25 mg/day in 1 dose 30-60 minutes before bedtime..
    • 1 year up to 5 years
      • 6.25 - 12.5 mg/day in 1 dose 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
    • 5 years up to 13 years
      • 12.5 - 25 mg/day in 1 dose 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
    • ≥ 13 years
      • 25 - 50 mg/day in 1 dose 30-60 minutes before bedtime.

Warnings & precautions in children

Special care should be taken with infants and young children under 1 year of age, as they can react particularly sensitively to anticholinergics and there is therefore a risk of sleep apnea occurring. Doxylamine succinate should therefore only be used after careful medical risk-benefit assessment.
