Constipation
  • Oral
    • 6 years up to 12 years
      • 1 sachet once or twice daily

      • Directions for administration:

        Metamucil: Dissolve in a glass of water and drink straight away. Then drink another glass of water.
        Volcolon: Should preferably be mixed with food, or milk or fruit juice and consumed straight away. Then drink another glass of liquid.

    • 12 years up to 18 years
      • 1 sachet 1-3 times daily

      • Directions for administration:

        Volcolon: Should preferably be mixed with food, or milk or fruit juice and consumed straight away. Then drink another glass of liquid.

Renal impaiment in children > 3 months

GFR ≥10 ml/min/1.73m2: Dose adjustment not required.
