Dosages

Head lice
  • Cutaneous
    • ≥ 2 years
      • Apply 10-20 ml to the scalp and hair in the evening well before going to bed (so that the hair is dry when going to sleep); rub in well and let it dry in the air; wash out with normal shampoo after 12 hours. Comb the first day in the morning with a louse or nit comb and then comb every evening for 14 days (so that lice that may have got into the hair during the day cannot lay nits at night). Repeat the treatment after 7 days.

    • < 2 years
      • Only treat with malathion on a doctor’s recommendation.

Pubic lice
  • Cutaneous
    • ≥ 9 years
      • In the case of pediculosis pubis (crabs), apply to the pubic area, the perianal area, the inside of the thighs and other areas with hair, such as chest hair, armpit hair and beard hair if infested; remove lice or eggs from the eyelashes with tweezers.
