Constipation
  • Rectal
    • 1 year up to 6 years

      • 30 - 60 mg/dose, once only.
    • 6 years up to 12 years
      [3] [4]
      • 50 - 120 mg/dose, once only.
    • 12 years up to 18 years
      [1] [3] [4]
      • 120 mg/dose, once only.
      • If the effect is insufficient, a further 120 mg can be given the same day or the next day.

Renal impaiment in children > 3 months

GFR ≥10 ml/min/1.73m2: Dose adjustment not required.

GFR <10 ml/min/1.73m2: A general recommendation on dose adjustment cannot be provided.
