Dosages

Removal of dead tissue in burn wounds
  • Cutaneous
    • 0 years up to 18 years
        • apply 2 g of powder in 20 g of gel or 5 g of powder in 50 g of gel to the burn area;
          • in children 4-18 years, a wound area of up to 15% of the total BSA can be treated,
          • in children 0-3 years it is up to 10% of the total BSA. 
        • start pain relief at least 15 min before the start of treatment;
        • apply the gel to a clean, keratin-free and moist wound area with a thickness of 1.5-3 mm and cover it with a bandage;
        • leave it in place for 4 hours, then remove the gel and loosened dead tissue;
        • apply an antibacterial dressing for 2 hours before applying the gel as well as after removing it.
