Dosages

Treatment of uncomplicated malaria
  • Oral
    • < 8 years

      • 30 mg/kg/day in 3 doses. Max: 1.800 mg/day.
      • Duration of treatment:

        The length of treatment is up to 7 days after the patient no longer has a fever.

      • Directions for administration:

        The tablets should be taken after a meal.

      • Always in combination with clindamycin

    • ≥ 8 years

      • 30 mg/kg/day in 3 doses. Max: 1.800 mg/day.
