Hyperkeratosis
  • Cutaneous
    • 2 years up to 18 years
      • 5% or 10% ointment: Apply thinly once or twice daily
        Use a maximum of 3% for large areas.

         

Warts
  • Cutaneous
    • 1 year up to 18 years

      • Apply the 170 mg/ml application fluid or 200-400 mg/g ointment to the wart once a day so that the wart is fully covered.

      • Protect the healthy skin around the wart, for example with Vaseline.

Warnings & precautions in children

Be aware of the possibility of resorption. Because of the risk of salicylate intoxication, salicylic acid should only be used in children on small skin areas (warts, corns). Use a maximum of 3% for large areas. Not recommended for use in children younger than 2 years. Caution is needed in children aged less than 4 years.
